Subject: Well written and informative
Subject: Well written and informative
This book goes into very interesting detail, in short chapters with a wonderful style, of the creators of operas. These people's lives are better than any plot of the operas they wrote. Wagner and Puccini star, but even Richard Strauss and Verdi are given wonderful revisions of their lives and struggles.
